donation from cvma

Ride Home was lucky enough to be invited to talk the the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) a couple of months ago. This was great for us as a new non profit. This allowed us to get in front of other veterans that might need our help. More importantly this was a relationship building experience.

We took a Saturday morning went up to Monroe and sat in on one of their meetings. They were very welcoming to us and treated us well. We let them know what we at Ride Home were about and told them our mission.

The CVMA gave us some pointers on our social media and other programs we should be looking at. These recommendations were immersible as a new non profit. Having an established non profit of veterans helping us out. One of the CVAM’s motor is “vets helping vets” and this clearly was what they were doing on that Saturday.

When Pete reached out to our VP Mark a few weeks ago to let us know that they wanted to donate financially to our non profit. This was humbling to hear and very appreciated.

On April 2 2022 a few members of VCMA and all the board members of RHET showed up to our property in Arlington and they presented us a check. How awesome is that?!

Not only are they helping us with our mission of reducing suicide amongst veterans but they were also extending an olive branch to help us establish ourselves in the community.

Everyone at Ride Home appreciate you!
